Rules and Guidelines for the Turf Arena Sports Park Bi annual Champs

Group stage: 30 mins /match without stoppages 

Qtr Final: 20mins/half

Semis: 20mins/half

Finals: 30mins/half

The games for group stage are scheduled to hold between 3pm-6pm on friday 27/11/2020 to Sunday 29/11/2020, quarter final to hold between 3-6pm on Saturday 5/12/2020, with Semi final and Finals between 6-9pm on sunday 6/12/2020.Kindly ensure you and your players download the "Easy Tournament" app, register and search for "Turf Arena sports Park Champs" for full details of fixtures, timings and results.

Kindly have your full team sheet of 16players filled out with player positions etc by modnight today, Thursday 26/11/2020 as the tournament will be locked at that point and you will be unable to add players

Scheduled teams are to be at the entrance of the pitch for verification 5mins before kick off time. Teams that are not on the pitch and ready for kick off 5mins after the kick off time will forfeit a goal to the opposing team every 5mins and if they still arent on the pitch 15mins into kick off, they will be walked over with the opposing team awarded 3 points and 3goals.

There will be 3 groups of 4 teams each. The top 2 teams at the end of 3 matches in each group automatically qualify for the quarter finals, with another 2 best losing teams across the groups joining them. Criteria for best looser are first number of points, then goal differences and finally fair play (no. Of cards, yellow card counts as 1 and red cards count as 2)

Games that end in a draw during the knockout stage will be decided by 3 penalties each in the quarterfinals and 5 penalties each in the semi-final and final matches.

Yellow card fines cost N200 and Red card fines cost N500 all payable before the team's next fixtures. A player that is sent off via 2 yellow cards can return in the next match but one that is issued a straight red will miss out one game.

Teams will obey and Observe all facilities usage guidelines particularly pertaining to warm up and general conduct. It is the team manager/coaches responsibility to ensure that he coordinates and ensures the discipline of his team whilst on the facility.

Teams are urged to quickly get off the field of play following the end of their game to ensure the next matches are not held back unduly. This would end up disrupting the fixtures as the last games of the day might suffer from darkness.

Teams should provide their team colours/jersey colours to ensure there are no clash of kits and for alternatives to be arranged where necessary. 

The refs decision is final

Prizes will be awarded to the highest goal scorer and best goal keeper.

The winners prize is N200k for the champions and N60k for the second position.
