Five-A-Side Soccer Rules Summary

Team Composition: Five players on the field (4 outfield, 1 goalkeeper) plus 2 substitutes.

Substitutions: Unlimited rolling substitutions, with the old player exiting before the new one enters.

Game duration: two 7-minute halves in Group Stage, and two 10-minute halves in Final Round

Offside: No offside rule.

Goalkeeper Restrictions:

Must stay in the penalty area.

Cannot score with their hand.

Cannot hold the ball for more than three seconds.

Cannot pick up a back pass with their hands.

Fouls & Penalties: Tackles are forbidden. Fouls result in a free kick (5-meter wall).

Cards: Yellow Card (3-minute send-off, no substitution)

Red Card (permanent send-off, no substitution).

Penalty Shootout: A duel: player starts from the center circle and must shoot outside the penalty area

within 5 seconds. Only one shot is allowed.

Game Points: 4 points for a win / 2 points for a draw / 0 points for a defeat.

Fair Play: Teams must shake hands (before and after) and may earn a bonus Fair Play point.

Mixed Team Bonus: Teams with at least one female player on the field for half the game receive a

bonus goal.

Referee Authority: Only the team captain may speak to the referee. Disrespect is penalized.
